RESEARCH + DEVELOPMENT

STUDIO FUNFUG is passionate about researching and developing new relationships with games and performance for social and political change. As our projects tour around the globe, we support our artists in conducting artistic research in a wide range of forms being in dialogue with local communities.

1. RESIDENCIES

Workshops and artist talks enable a community-engaged approach to creating dialogue about games and performance for social and political change. These activities can be shaped for different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels, creating new relationships and opportunities for collaboration.

2. WORKSHOPS

While touring works, our artists also develop new projects through short and long term residencies with various partners. These development contexts focus on testing new ideas, testing new technologies, and prototyping experiences with audience. From epic game nights in a theatre to community interviews and playtests, their form is shaped by the research question or project.
